How Long Is a Candy Short Porn Episode?
We read the length and picture size of episode 1 straight from the video files Candy streams. The numbers, series by series, and what they say about the format.
Candy does not print a runtime next to its episodes, so we measured one. For every open series whose first episode plays without an account, we read the header of the episode 1 video file that Candy streams. An MP4 file states its own duration and picture size at the start, so there is no guessing involved. So far that covers 174 series.
That fits what Candy’s help centre says about Shorts: episodes are built to be watched in under two minutes. A five-episode series is therefore a story you finish in roughly the time of one long scene elsewhere.
The format
- Vertical video. The most common picture size among the files we read is 720x1280 pixels: taller than wide, made for a phone held upright.
- Episodes, not clips. Each series is a short story told across episodes that continue from one another; 162 open series have five.
- Subtitles. Candy’s player offers subtitle tracks. 78 open series list seven languages or more; each series page names them.
- Made with AI. Picture, voices and characters are generated. Some series cast a generated double of a real adult performer, created with the performer’s consent according to Candy.
Episode 1 of every open series, longest first
How we measured
For each series, Candy’s player lists the video address of episode 1 when it is free to watch without an account. We request only the first few hundred kilobytes of that file, read the duration and frame size it declares, and stop. The numbers refresh when the series changes on Candy. Later episodes are behind a sign-up or tokens, so we do not time them.
How long is a Candy short porn episode?
Episode 1 runs from 0:31 to 1:58 across the series we timed, 1:08 on average. Candy describes Shorts episodes as under two minutes.
How long is a whole series?
Multiply by the number of episodes: most series have five, so a story usually takes well under ten minutes from the first episode to the last.
Are the videos vertical?
Yes. The files are taller than they are wide, like a phone screen held upright.
